BCC Cares · Micro-Courses
Short courses for the situation in front of you.
Choose a topic and prepare for a typical care conversation in one afternoon. Most videos are two minutes or less.

A PLAN for Relational Conflict
Help someone move from rehearsing the conflict toward a wise, grace-filled next step. Five short lessons show you how to ask better questions, prepare for hard conversations, and recognize when the situation needs more help.

Four micro-courses come with the free Care Partner level. Caring Like Christ is where most people begin.
More help for the harder conversations.
The PLAN series works through the struggles people actually bring you, with a new micro-course planned every month. Care Member also opens the observation sessions and the ACBC exam guide.
What a micro-course is
Each micro-course is organized around the typical conversations a topic may bring. Work through brief videos and practical printables at your own pace, then complete every step to earn a course badge.
An afternoon, not a semester
Most videos are two minutes or less, and a complete micro-course can usually be worked through in one afternoon.
Tools you can use
Every micro-course includes at least five printable resources to help you prepare for and guide real conversations.
Low pressure, real progress
Short knowledge checks reinforce what you are learning. You must pass each one to move forward, but you may retake it as many times as needed. There are no required books, and completing every step earns a course badge.
